I'm Josh, a software engineer based in Austin, Texas.

I built Hitchpost based on how I like to consume news:

• Biased sources with strong perspectives from across the political spectrum.
• A mixture of media types, especially audio/video, not just articles.
• Independent sources, not corporate media. I want to hear from people who care, not regurgitate talking points.

I actively follow many of the sources on Hitchpost. Others I've only seen in passing. I'll continue updating our sources over time, so shoot me a line if you have suggestions.
